Lysanne Skinner
Candidate for Salvington Ward

Lysanne Skinner is a local business owner, wife and mother of two. She started out as a secondary school teacher prior to starting her family. Since the birth of her eldest child, she has found success as an entrepreneur with MotherRucker, a baby carrying consultancy and sling library.
Diagnosed with ADHD at 34, Lysanne is passionate about ensuring early diagnosis and improving interventions for children who are Neurodiverse. Attending the Labour Party Conference in 2021, she made a passionate speech about this topic for which she received a standing ovation from the house.

Lysanne has created a safe space for families to use when they are in our town centre, completely free of charge.
“If elected Councillor, I will dedicate my time to helping families and young people thrive in Worthing through early years support, education and LGBTQ+ inclusion.”
